Names for the Messiah: An Advent Study
For our Advent Bible Study, we will be exploring the book, “Names for the Messiah,” by Walter Brueggermann. The study is based on Isaiah 9:6, which says, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Our pastors, seminary intern, and others will be helping to lead each session. Please join us for our study on the following Sundays: December 3, 10, 17 at 4:30 pm, in the Open Door classroom (room #20). We will also be meeting for the 4th session, which will include food and fellowship on December 22, in a home setting. Please join us for this study, as we focus on this very important season in the life of the church.
Books will be available in the Narthex as well as the Family Center’s Welcome Center. Please consider making a $10 donation for your book.
