Lent is the church season before Easter. For 40 days, starting on Ash Wednesday (not including Sundays), many churches focus the season on reflection and repentance.
Fairfield will focus its Lenten sermon series on the book “Meeting Jesus at the Table,” written by Cynthia M. Campbell and Christine Coy Fohr. We’ll talk about several meals that Jesus had throughout his life, and how those meals changed his dinner companions’ lives.
