To call this day “good” is a contradiction as it’s the darkest and saddest day. Jesus is crucified, and we watch his agony with the women at the foot of the cross. For three hours, the sky becomes dark, and Jesus says his final words.
At 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary, we sit at the foot of the cross, mourning our dying savior. Our songs of grief are tinged with hope in a bluegrass style as we worship with a Bluegrass Mass Tenebrae Service.
