When and how does it work?
- Tuesday, October 5th 6-8:00pm
- Thursday, October 7th 6-8:00pm
- Friday, October 8th 9:00am-11:00am
*Please Note: For your convenience, please arrive with your clothes sorted according to gender and size and counted for your easy placement on the appropriate tables. (We will have sorting tables available if you choose to sort on site.) You will receive a ticket for each piece of clothing that you drop off to use to shop with on Saturday. Ex: 290 articles of clothing=290 tickets

Q: How often is the swap held?
A: Twice a year. Generally in the Fall (October) and Spring (April).
Q: Can I donate to the Swap year round?
A: Unfortunately, no. We do not have the space to store clothing so they are only accepted on donation days the week of the swap.
Q: Where do the clothes that have not been swapped out go?
A: Our clothing has been sent on mission trips to Sudan and Haiti, we have filled clothing closets in Ashland, Henrico, Mechanicsville and Sandston, donated to local NICU’s, sent clothing to a battered women’s shelter, sent newborn clothing with Midwives for Haiti and so much more!
Q: Can I purchase the clothing?
A: We do not accept any forms of payment. This is a completely FREE community event from start to finish.
Q: What do I do if I have some other items that I want to donate? (Blankets, baby toys etc)
A: We have a FREE/ZERO TICKET table outside of the Family Center where you can place all other items that you would like to donate. ALL are welcome to grab what they need from that table without using their tickets. (This is a popular table!)
